Welcome to PB Breakers. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. Please read them. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

1. What PB Breakers is

PB Breakers is a private fishing club and tournament app that lets you log catches, form clubs with other anglers, run tournaments, and share your fishing activity. It's provided as a hobby project, "as is."

2. Your account

• You must provide accurate information and keep your login secure. You're responsible for activity under your account.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use PB Breakers.
• You're responsible for the content you post — catches, photos, messages, club and tournament details.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Post content that is illegal, harassing, hateful, obscene, or infringes someone else's rights.
• Upload photos or information you don't have the right to share.
• Falsify catches or cheat in tournaments in ways that harm other users' experience.
• Attempt to break, overload, hack, or misuse the app or its data.
• Use the app to harm, harass, or deceive other users.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms, at our discretion.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the catches, photos, and messages you post. By posting them, you grant PB Breakers permission to store, display, and share that content within the app as needed to provide its features (for example, showing your catch to members of your club and in feeds). You can delete your content, and you can request account deletion.

5. Clubs and tournaments

• Clubs are run by their commissioners. Commissioners can manage tournaments, rules, standings, strikes, and membership for their clubs.
• Tournament rules, scoring, and any stakes are set by club members among themselves. PB Breakers is a tracking tool only.

6. Location and photos

Catch photos may contain and share the location where they were taken with members of your clubs. Only upload photos and information you're comfortable sharing. See our Privacy Policy for details on how location and photos are handled.

7. Third-party services

The app relies on third-party services (including Supabase, Netlify, Mapbox, Open-Meteo, and PostHog). Their availability and behavior are outside our control, and their own terms may apply to their portions of the service.

8. Availability and changes

PB Breakers is offered as-is and may change, break, or become unavailable at any time. We may add, modify, or remove features, and we may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

9. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We don't guarantee the app will be accurate, reliable, uninterrupted, or error-free. Weather, maps, and other data are provided by third parties and may be inaccurate — don't rely on them for safety decisions.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, PB BREAKERS AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, PRIZES, OR WAGERS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid us to use it (which, for free use, is zero).

11. Indemnification

You agree to hold PB Breakers harmless from claims arising out of your content, your use of the app, your violation of these Terms, or any wagers or arrangements you make with other users.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
